Listed below are all available resources for the course. Once a student is accepted into the program, he or she should join their schools WBL Remind group for weekly communication with their coordinator. Students are also highly encouraged to check his or her email daily. 

How do I qualify for cooperative education & what will I do to earn course credit?

  1. Be a junior or senior and have successfully completed at least 1 Career and Technical Education Course.

  2. Complete a cooperative education application and provide a copy of your transcript and the names of three teachers.

  3. Have at least a 2.0 GPA, good school attendance, and a good discipline record.

  4. Work at LEAST 10 hours per week, PAID EMPLOYMENT, in an approved work site (140 minimum documented hours each semester).

  5. Cooperative education workstations must be provided by a licensed enterprise outside of the home with a direct supervisor and must be within 18 miles of the school. If the worksite exceeds 18 miles of your school, prior permission must be granted.

  6. Students are strongly encouraged NOT to work for family members. Students must receive prior permission to work for parents or relatives and must directly report to a non-family member.

  7. Abide by all cooperative education rules and document work hours with a paycheck stub or print-out. Copies of checks are not acceptable.
