The Mu Psi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. would like to share an exciting leadership opportunity for students this spring.

Their chapter will be hosting the Alpha L.E.A.D. (Leadership, Education, Achievement, and Development) Academy, a multi-weekend program designed for current high school students in grades 9–12. The Academy focuses on helping students strengthen leadership skills, plan for postsecondary education and careers, build personal responsibility, and engage in healthy decision-making - along with getting some hands-on leadership experience!

The program includes interactive sessions, teamwork activities, exposure to college and career pathways, and opportunities for personal growth. Students who complete the program will participate in a graduation ceremony recognizing their achievement.

JCAC Scholarship
The Central Alabama Community Foundation (CACF) is excited to announce that scholarship applications for the 2026 cycle are now open. Students can explore opportunities and apply online at cacfinfo.org/scholarships. Applications will remain open until March 1, 2026.

CACF offers over 100 scholarship opportunities. These awards include statewide, local, and regional scholarships.

We would like to remind all of our seniors and their parents about the College Financial Aid Night presentation that will be held on out campus tomorrow, December 3rd, at 6pm. Mrs. Kimberly Miller from the University of Montevallo will be presenting. The information she provides is applicable to all colleges and universities.

The meeting location has been changed to the CaHS band room. All guests should enter the building via the student parking lot entrance by the gym and auditorium. We will have signs directing guests to the band room.

Everything used in their products is all natural/gluten free and has no added sweeteners/artificial ingredients or preservatives. Their peanut butter is less caloric than store-bought brands, and their unsweetened peanut butter is keto and diabetic friendly.
