Senior class night is quickly approaching. It will be held APRIL 30 at Palmer Hall on the campus of the University of Montevallo. At senior night, we proudly honor all of our scholarship recipients as well as those who have enlisted in any branch of the military. In order to best prepare for this celebration, we need your help. Please make sure your student has submitted proof of all accepted scholarships to Mr. Riggins ASAP. The priority deadline for this submission is Friday, 4/18. Students are also encouraged to complete the Google Form that Mr. Riggins sent to them via email on 4/7.

The Little Mermaid Jr. will debut this week at Calera High! The 40 member cast/crew has worked SO hard to prepare this heartwarming family-friendly show!

Student parking will open up for upcoming Seniors April 18th at 5:00 p.m. and for upcoming Juniors April 21st at 5:00 p.m.
**A Google Form will be emailed to students on the respective days. Here is what you will need in order to fill out the Google Form.**
Student Parking Checklist:
1. Student must be completely registered for School through SCORE.
2. Student must have paid for Plan A w/ parking ($100).
-Payments can be made at the front office (8 am - 2 pm Monday-Thursday) or online via MySchoolBucks (bit.ly/cahsregistration)
3. Student must pay all outstanding debt by July 1 (letters to be mailed home with report cards) and can be paid through MySchoolBucks (bit.ly/cahsregistration)
4. Student must have the attached Student Parking 2025-2026 Form filled out and ready to upload.
5. Student must have digital copy of proof of insurance ready to upload
6. Student must have a digital copy of their Driver's License or permit (for those still needing a Road Test) ready to upload. For those submitting Learner's Permit, I will need a copy of your driver's license when you receive it.
7. Students must complete the Google Form to be emailed out April 18th at 5:00 p.m. for rising seniors and April 21st at 5:00 p.m. for rising juniors. You will need to have the following information readily available to complete the form.

Parking spots will be assigned according to timestamps and the completion of all items in the checklist. If any of the above items are missing, the student will be moved to the end of the parking list.


We are excited for Prom tonight.
The American Village will open up at 3 PM today for those wanting to take pictures. They will also have 3 carts available to take attendees to different spots.
Just a reminder the actual Prom itself is closed to parents and family.

Prom is next Saturday, April 12th, and we are so excited!! Right now prom tickets are $65 a piece. Starting Monday, April 7th, at 8am prom tickets will be limited and go up to $75 a piece. You can purchase your tickets on GoFan. If your date is not a currently enrolled student at Calera High School the Prom Permission form must be completed and submitted to the front office prior to the event. Tickets will not be for purchase at the event. We can't wait to see you there!!

There will be a mandatory parent meeting on March 4th at 5:30 pm in the library.

All juniors will be participating in ACT Bootcamp this week! On assigned boot camp day, students (including late start) need to be at school by 7:45 AM and bring a highlighter and calculator. We are excited to offer this boot camp in hopes of raising your student's score on the upcoming ACT on March 11th!


Elective Night is Tuesday! Upcoming 10th-12th graders and parents 5:30-6:30 and upcoming 9th graders and parents from 6:30-7:30.
