PROM Save the Date

It's the season of giving! The Calera High School Service Club is hosting a TOY DRIVE from now through December 17th. Please bring a new, unwrapped toy, game, or children's book to Ms. Campbell's room and drop in the wrapped box designated for your grade. Which class will donate the most toys? Let's spread some joy this holiday season!

Please see the upcoming dates for informational sessions concerning the Path to the Plains program. This is a pathway for students to earn admittance to Auburn University by attending some classes at Southern Union State Community College.

Each month at Calera High School, we focus on a character word that reflects who we are as a Capturing Kids’ Hearts ❤️ school. For October, that word was Self-Direct, leading yourself to who you want to be by making positive choices and taking ownership of your actions. Those recognized below set clear goals, stay positive and focused, take initiative, and serve as a model of consistency and personal responsibility for our students and teachers. #FlyAsOne #LoveListenLearnLead

On Friday, our Calera High School sophomores traveled to Columbiana to tour the facilities at CTEC and take part in the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce’s “Connect 2 Careers” Fair! Students explored more than 30 companies from across the county representing every career cluster. They networked with company representatives and even participated in hands-on activities that showcased real-world career opportunities.
A huge thank you to CTEC, the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce, and our amazing Career Coach, Miss Hope Finley, for organizing and supporting this valuable learning experience for our students! 💙🦅
