Parents: Reminder about Student Attendance for Basketball Game Final Four. Google Form is due tonight by 9 PM

Congratulations to our Boys Basketball Team for advancing to the Final Four. They will play Cullman High School.
Date/Time: Wednesday, March 4 @ 10:30 AM
Location: Legacy Arena @ the BJCC in Birmingham

Excused Absence
Students attending the game on Wednesday will be excused from school for the day.
Students must complete the attached Google Form BEFORE the game to be excused: https://forms.gle/EhXoTv9HTtXnom2m9

Students attending the game should be at Legacy Arena by 10 AM ready to sit in the Student Section as soon as the 9 AM girls game ends.
Students are expected to get with their teachers in regards to missed assignments for Wednesday and have those assignments completed by Thursday.

Student Section:
Football Boosters will be providing shirts again for those who complete the google form. These shirts will be distributed Tuesday afternoon. In addition, we are asking students to wear gold/yellow accessories for Childhood Cancer Awareness and we have a student who is still fighting this battle.

Legacy Arena Clear Bag Policy:
For quickest entry into your BJCC venue, we recommend leaving bags at home. If a bag is necessary, the bag must meet the following criteria:
Bags must be CLEAR plastic, vinyl or PVC and not exceed 12″x6″x12″. Bags cannot be tinted with color or include oversized content that prevents visibility into the clear bag.
Only non-clear bags smaller than 5″x7″ will be permitted entry. Any type of non-clear bag exceeding 5″x7″ in size will not be permitted.

The game will begin at 2:15 PM.

Thursday, both the boys and girls basketball teams will be competing in the Sweet 16!
The girls game begins at 3:00 PM.

The boys game begins at 4:30 PM.

Students who plan to attend the 3:00 PM girls game will have attendance excused beginning at 12:15 PM, provided they have been checked out by a parent at that time or have been pre-checked out---reminder we do not accept check-outs via phone or email.
