Each year the Peer Helpers sponsor Unity Week here at the CHS. This year it will be Oct. 28th-Nov 1st. Unity week is a time that we focus on tolerance and acceptance of others. We hang posters in the hall to remind everyone to treat others with love and respect, have dress up days, & do daily announcements about Unity and acceptance.
As part of this, we sell Unity shirts that will be worn on one of the Dress up days. The proceeds from these shirts go towards our Christmas project for foster children in this area.
The shirts will be on sale from now until Oct 10th so that they will be here in time for Unity Week. If you purchase a shirt online, please put the Peer Helper's name who sold it to you in the comment section of the order form. Mrs. Copes has attached pictures here of what the shirts look like.

Attention parents of Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors,
We will be offering the ASVAB at CaHS on 11/7/2024. This is the test used by the armed forces as the entrance test for students interested in serving in one of the branches of the military. It is also a very useful tool for students who do not want to serve in the military, but who want to see where their specific career aptitudes lie. There is also a career interest inventory component of the ASVAB that can be completed once scores are released that help students find careers that match both their job related strengths and their interests. There is no cost to test. This test is open to interested sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
The test will begin at 8am and will last approximately 3 hours. If your student is interested in testing, please please ask them to complete the Google Form sent out by Mr. Riggins.
Taking the ASVAB does not obligate your student to enlist in any branch of the military.
We are halfway through the first quarter. Please stress the importance of attendance to your student.
