Our Vincent Softball Team is currently taking recipe donations for a Cookbook Fundraiser. We will have our very own cookbooks printed using all of the recipes submitted. We will have 4 sections listed in the book (Appetizer, Casseroles, Entrees, Desserts). Once we get all of the recipes submitted we will begin to take orders for those that wish to purchase one. If you would like to donate a recipe please fill out our Cookbook Recipe Form. All recipes will need to be submitted by 3:00 pm on September 25, 2024.

Families -
We have enjoyed seeing all of your students dressed up and having a great week so far! We're excited about celebrating our students, our school, and our community throughout the rest of the week.
At this time, however, we are going to have to make some changes in our original plans. We were so excited to host our parade date and time at night this year. Having our parade in the evening allows parents to join without having to take off of work and would (typically) offer cooler weather. We also really loved the idea of pairing that with our bonfire for a community event!
Unfortunately, Hurricane Francine in the Gulf is forcing us to put that idea aside until next year. With weather predictions currently calling for rain, storms, and wind most of the day and evening on Thursday, we are going to have to tentatively move our parade back to Friday at 1:30. At the moment, Friday appears to have a better chance of some dry spells so that we can have our parade, pep rally, and game as planned! We will be sending our usual check-out forms home today for those needing to checkout for the parade.
We are also going to move our bonfire to Tuesday, October 29. This will be prior to Senior night on November 1 and we will be able to celebrate all of our seniors at this time.
We will continue to monitor the weather and if further changes need to be made to Friday's plans, we will notify everyone of that by mid-morning on Friday.
Thank you!
Lauren Yancey
Parents and Guardians,
I want to thank you all for responding so quickly to today's need to dismiss early. I do know that it is never easy when a typical school day must pivot, but you all made our release as smooth and easy as possible. Thank you.
We have received word that water should be restored by tomorrow morning and we will resume a normal schedule.
We look forward to seeing everyone for our second Homecoming day! Tomorrow's dress up day is "Dress for your Golden Years"! We can't wait to see everyone dressed up!
Lastly, we are monitoring the weather for Thursday night's festivities and we will release updates as soon as possible.
Again, thank you all for your support and Go Jackets!

Parents and Guardians -
Due to a major water leak in the area, our school will be without water for the remainder of the day. We will be dismissing early.
Student drivers will be dismissed at 12:30 and car riders may be picked up starting at 12:30. The buses will begin running their route as soon as possible and an estimated time will be sent to you as soon as that is coordinated.
Football practice will be starting as soon as car riders are dismissed and will conclude their practice early.
We apologize greatly for this inconvenience and we appreciate your support as we work through this together!
Lauren Yancey
