Haley Franks

Haley Franks, Principal

Mrs. Franks has over 16 years of experience as an educator. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Collaborative Education from Troy University and Master’s degree in Educational Administration from the University of Montevallo.

Mrs. Franks is originally from Fort Payne, Alabama. She currently resides in Montevallo with her husband Michael, and two sons, Pruitt and Kirby. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, browsing thrift stores and antique shops, and visiting historical sites. Her favorite children's book is The Butter Battle Book by Dr. Seuss.

Erica Hogge

Erica Hogge, Assistant Principal

Erica Hogge has over 16 years of experience as an educator. She began her career at Calera Elementary where she taught first grade. Mrs. Hogge then served as the district instructional coach of Math and Science. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary, a Master’s degree in Instructional Leadership, and most recently an EdS in Instructional Technology all from the University of Montevallo. She currently resides in Calera with her husband Heath, and two kids, Haston and Haylen. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, and traveling. 

Brittany Brasher

Brittany Brasher, Assistant Principal

Brittany Brasher has been a member of the Calera community for 8 years. She resides in Calera with her  husband Matt and two children,  Brantlee and Hadlee who both attend Calera Elementary School. Brittany has been a special education teacher for 13 years. The last 5 years have been at Calera Intermediate as a resource teacher. She graduated from Samford University in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood, Elementary, and Special Education. She then attended UAB where she earned a Masters degree in English as a Second Language in 2013. In 2016 she earned a Masters in Instructional Leadership from Jacksonville State University.
