Mrs. Stacy Aderholt became the principal of Shelby Elementary School in 2010. Mrs. Aderholt began her career in education in 1997. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary/ Early Childhood Education from the University of Montevallo, a Masters of Art Degree in Educational Leadership and an Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from UAB.
Mrs. Aderholt started her teaching career in her hometown of Vincent, AL. She taught Kindergarten, Second Grade, and served as a Reading Coach at Vincent Elementary. Mrs. Aderholt was the administrative assistant at Shelby Elementary before becoming principal. She feels it is an honor to give back to the Shelby County School system.
Mrs. Aderholt is married to Clay Aderholt. They have four children, Tre, Connor, Campbell, and Anna Grace. In her spare time, Mrs. Aderholt is at the ballpark. She enjoys watching her boys play football, basketball, and baseball.
Mrs. Aderholt loves coming to school every day! It is such a pleasure to serve the Shelby community. It is a great place to live and work!
