BAND FORMS & FEES

Fees

The following dues are required for members of the Helena Middle School Band:

  • $50 for Band Elective Dues

  • $200 Rental Fee per year for school-owned instruments including Horn, Euphonium, Tuba, Oboe, Bassoon, Tenor Saxophone, Bass Clarinet, and Percussion

  • Students are required to purchase their own instruments (other than those listed above), method books, and supplies

  • Students are responsible for the cost the optional spring trip

  • 6th Grade $30 for Band T-Shirt and Polo. Students must also obtain required uniform items as emailed to parents.

  • 7th/8th Grade $15 for Band T-Shirt (It is the same as the 6th Grade Shirt). Students must also obtain required uniform items as emailed to parents.

  • $20 to join the HMS Band Boosters for the family for the entire year. Payable on MySchoolBucks- It is not required that you join the booster organization, but the band only gets money from this organization and its fundraisers. Our needs are great and so we strongly encourage you to join.

Fundraisers

Fundraisers are a necessary part of how the band functions. Each new piece of music, regular maintenance, and instrument purchases are essential to a growing band program. Please consider helping contribute to our band's financial stability.
