To equip students with the employability and technical skills required for employment and/or advanced training to become an emergency medical technician.

The Dual Enrollment EMT Program offered here at CTEC is through Jeff State and is an elective class open to Seniors.  This program offers a simulated work experience for students interested in the healthcare field, becoming an EMT, or a future in firefighting.  Students are given the opportunity to prepare through various means: rigorous curriculum, simulated lab experiences, guest speakers, hands-on activities, and on-the-job training.  Through a comprehensive program, students work toward becoming college and career-ready in a high-demand career field.
