Charge your Chromebook each night and bring it to school with you each day.

• Take care when inserting and removing the charging cable so as not to damage the cord or the port.

Always keep your Chromebook in your issued case. This will help protect it as well as help identify the device as being assigned to you.

Always keep the Chromebook on a flat surface to avoid accidental falls.

Never pick up the Chromebook using the screen.

• Also avoid putting a lot of extra items in the case. This can put unnecessary weight and pressure on the device that can damage the screen; additionally, many students have accidentally closed these items (pencils, ear buds, notebooks, etc.) inside the Chromebook and cracked the screen.

Do not eat or drink while using the Chromebook.

Clean the Chromebook only using approved tech-safe wipes. Never use liquid cleaners.

Do not let others borrow your Chromebook or its accessories.
