Assistant Principal Mary Anderson

Mary Anderson

My name is Mary Anderson, and I love working as the assistant principal at Chelsea Park Elementary. I truly feel like education was my calling from the time I was a little girl, so I began my career as an elementary school teacher after graduating with my Bachelors of Science in Education from Delta State University in Cleveland, MS in 2002. A few years later, I returned to Delta Sate University to further my education by earning a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership. I taught elementary school for seven years prior to becoming an administrator. Prior to moving to Alabama at the end of 2013, I served as the principal of Parks Elementary in Cleveland, MS for three years. My family and I live in Chelsea, and we are excited about what the future holds for us here in Shelby County. I look forward to working with all of the teachers, staff, parents, and students to ensure a successful school year.
