2017-18 District and State Assessment Information
To receive information on how to read the ACT ASPIRE parent report and hear 2017-2018 district and state assessment information go to http://podcasts.shelbyed.k12.al.us/shelbytalk/. Beginning September 25, 2017, parents will have the opportunity to submit questions/comments for one week for instructional staff members to respond to at a later time.
New Student Enrollment
Please use the link below to begin the process of enrolling your child in Shelby County Schools. After you have completed the initial forms, contact the school to schedule a time to complete the enrollment process.

Calera Elementary has partnered with Successful Innovations to offer families a free on demand resource to support their children in the classroom. Parents now have access to a library of how-to videos with exercises and activities to help accelerate your child’s learning - all in the comfort of your home.

CAES School Day: CAES is open to students at 7:15 a.m. Between 7:15 a.m. and 7:35 a.m., students should enter the building and report to the cafeteria for breakfast or the gym. Students arriving after 7:35 a.m. should go directly to their classroom or to the cafeteria for breakfast. Any students, who do not arrive in their classroom by 7:50 a.m. are tardy and must be signed by office personnel. For more information please see the Student Handbook.
